The Boys of Summer!

The last home game of the season for the Vancouver Canadians at Nat Bailey Stadium. It was the Canadians versus the Eugene Emeralds. They won 9 - 4!! The weather was perfect for a ball game.

The field sweepers showing the crowd their moves. Shake it!

The sushi mascots. Here is Mr. Wasabi and Mr. Kappa Roll. Very strange. Only in Vancouver.

The fair at the PNE

The summer would not be complete without a visit to the PNE. Mini-donuts, the petting farm, Super Dogs and the parade. Visiting the fair was a little bit harder this year because Jon is not so mobile, but we made the best of it. The weather started out with rain and, later, sunny skies in the afternoon.

The PNE is one of the best parts of summer, but also the saddest since it signals that fall is just around the corner.

More cards

I've been on a card-making kick. Pink, white, brown. My current fave colours. Check out the patterned paper I used from Basic Grey. I love this company's paper. It's heavy, the colours and themes are modern, some lines are girly, some for boys, but all rockin'.

A card I made to celebrate summer. What's summer without a few butterflies? Some glitter always makes everything that much better.

Not much posting going on. I'm studying for an exam later this week. Grrr.
This is what the desk looks like. Messy. Pretty much sums up the entire week.
When I study, I seem to get very sick. Headaches, backaches, stomach aches - all of it. I must have a bad reaction to school and tests. Why do I keep going back to school? I love learning. I hate exams.
This year will be my last school year, I hope. I can see the light at the end of tunnel. Why accounting, you ask? Why, indeed. I should've stuck with marine biology. With the focus on the environment, I was bound to get a job in marine science. Oh, well...
The blog, as you can see, is going through some updates. I'm trying to customizing it a little at a time. Like everything else, it's near the bottom of my list.
