My current desk

...is here:

On My Desk

Yes, I'm working out of a well-known coffee establishment. Why? Because I can & because my place is still very hot. This establishment has air-conditioning and, most importantly, free wi-fi. Albeit, it is a little slow, but enough for me. I wish I had an iPad though...

The photos were actually taken on Tuesday, but it's Wednesday and I'm pretty much at the same point that I was yesterday.

Current projects:

On My Desk

A card for a challenge that I will post later today. I feel my mojo slowly coming back. Enough that I broke out the heat gun and did a little emboss resist. Who knew emboss resisting could make a comeback? Love this Elements of Style stamp set.

On My Desk

I saw this post from fellow demo & sideline, Sabriena, and had to try it for myself. After a few sticky fingers and a couple of boo-boos, I ended up with the above. It still needs work as I can see where I made an incorrect fold.
Baby Z August 9

My sidekick & crafty buddy...sound asleep. Amazing! This never happens at home.

What's even more amazing? No one has come up to me and asked what I was doing with all my supplies laid out. Hmmm...there must be something much more interesting than a crafty mom & her sleeping baby lounging around at a well-known coffee establishment. :)

Thanks for stopping by. For more Wednesday inspiration, check out http://www.stamping-ground.blogspot.com/.

I know the "too hot" feeling. I should have packed up my sewing machine and visited Starbucks (grin). Your crafty helper is adorable. Must be the atmosphere or the coffee smells that induces sleep. Happy WOYWW.

Great idea ...we should have a week where everyone crafts somewhere in public! I know I've pulled out supplies in the doctors waiting room. that flower is gorgeous...off to see how to do that! :) Nan

Nobody looks suprised these days. Unbelievable what you're able to do without people wondering. I even managed to crawl out of the car window with the alarm on because there was a default at the car and I had to get out to go to school without people looking up. Nice though that you're being left alone, then you can really commit to your crafting
Have a nice day

How do you remember what stuff to take if you aren't crafting at home? I'd get to Starbucks and realise I'd left my glue at home or something, lol!
