On My Desk...

Mess. But I realize..that I like it that way.

Workdesk 79

I'm working on a paper Hermes handbag that I've been wanting to make for a long time. Just a few dollars short of the real thing, so paper will have to do. ;)

Also, I'm in the process of creating a stuffie for my babe. Using the fabric! Yes!
Drop by tomorrow to see what else I've created with this fabric.

Z & Santa

Baby Z visited Santa over the weekend. He was a little traumatized. Z fell asleep shortly afterward.

Thanks for visiting and thank you for your comments. Please visit www.stamping-ground.blogspot.com for more creativity in motion.

ooh ooh - love the paper version but - you might also make the bag from little leather scraps ( or grunge paper would work like leather) instead of paper - use a bradawl to make holes and linen cord to sew where you would glue - little mini leather faux hermes bags - yeah

My babes screamed at the weirdly beardy Santa - when I took them aged 2 and four- the four year old ran away! so I decided in the end it was too traumatic and we never went again

Oh I love the idea of a mini Hermes, you must show it, I could do with one too :)

Poor Z, but it's a lovely photo.

Wow, I'm still working on holiday cards and you are making paper purses. Can't wait to see the finished project.

I was afraid Baby Z might be a bit afraid. But looks like he's holding his own in this shot (#4).

Santa is a bit scary, there are so many of them and they just don't look real. No wonder he was not impressed. He is a gorgeous baby!!

Your desk is looking very productive Sheila, such a shame the bag is not real one.
Loving the Elephant in the next post too, he’s so sweet.

Baby Z certainly looks as though he has Santa's measure. I don't think he's buying the facial hair.

Love the thought of that Hermes bag - can't wait to see what you do with it!
