Basket Boy

Yay! I made a layout! About Baby Z, of course.

While this layout was not created for any particular challenge, I'd like to share some techniques with you.

Basket Boy

A close up of the left-hand side:

I create a stamped border on the right-hand side with a clear word stamp. The stamp was inked in Versamark and stamped along the side lining up the phrase as I stamped (mostly eyeballing). The stamped image was heat embossed with red embossing powder.

Basket Boy

I punched out some circles in various sizes as well as a few glitter hearts. Yes, I'm still hoarding that glimmer paper.

The Story: We found that keeping our soon-to-be mobile little boy in a laundry basket kept him entertained for quite a long time. He loved it in there and looked for ways to make a great escape.

Supplies:
Textured cardstock: Stampin' Up!
Patterned paper: Stampin' Up!, Becky Higgins Project Life
Stamps: Stampin' Up!, Technique Tuesday

Thanks for looking!
